Along with the American Association of Orthodontics we recommend that a child receive their first orthodontic exam by the age 7. This allows us to recognize potential problems early and, if necesssary, correct them before they become more serious. When indicated, early treatment has tremendous potential to enhance the overall desired result and to enhance your child's self-esteem.

At this first exam, we will discuss with you our findings, the significance of these findings, and a protocol as to when and how any problems should be addressed. For children that are receiving routine pediatric dental care at Dothan Pediatric Dentistry, this is all part of your regular check-up. Dr. Flowers is board certified by the American Board of Orthodontics and is full time staff at Dothan Pediatric Dentistry. We look forward to your visit.
